Wiz was actually going to look into this for me when he was able, however, I know he's very busy and I figured I would kick it out here to see if anyone had any ideas as to why this might be happening.
I made absolutely no changes to my forum files (and after speaking to the other admins on my site, I don't believe they did anything either) and all of a sudden the other day, the members and I could no longer get to the index.php page - it will not load. If I put an index.html file in the folder it loads fine, so it's nothing to do with the folder or my account that I can tell. Wiz mentioned that it may have been that my absolute board path changed, however I have two other forums running and nothing has happened to effect them.

I'm willing to give my ftp account info to anyone willing to help me this as I am nearing witts end. I'm sure it has something to do with one of the Source files or Settings file, but can't figure out what it would be and why all of a sudden it would just start doing this. Btw, just to confirm that it was nothing to do with the folder I uplaoded a new board under: http://thegalacticirregulars.com/forum/index.php and it works fine. So I'm at a complete loss at this point.

One last thing which may or may not help point to the problem. I tried pointing the database settings on the temporary forum I loaded to the old database to see if that would work. It didn't - got a bunch of php script errors as I suspected would happen (knew it couldn't be that easy). Then I tried copying the old Settings.php file into the new forum directory, and bang! I started getting the DNS page again. So it seems that it has something to do with the Settings file - or something it references... at least, that's my best guess...

One other thing I noticed that may or may not have caused or contributed to the problem - when I went into Settings.php again, I noticed that Maintenance Mode was set to 1 - potentially one of my admins did this but they all say they didn't (I know I didn't). I changed it back to 0 but it didn't help. That was the only thing to date that I noticed had changed - so again, I'm really not sure what's going on. Other than the Maintenance Mode, I've left everything pretty much as it was so as not to compound the issue.
Hopefully you can track it down - if so, I'll be in your debt.

Took care of it for you.. Nobody else but the oh, the 500 or so strangers that saw your information will see your ftp password and account information anymore so you should be perfectly safe. 
Its not like you gave them your SSI or Check account numbers
