Just finished my newest template to date. This time I tried to integrate my whole site with the SuperMod features and with the exception of a few things, I was successful (now I feel like showing it off, lol).
The only things not running out of SuperMod are the chat feature - which I needed to tailer to an existing chat room (it's integrated within the site portal, so it's difficult for anyone to tell). Also the wiki (didn't know one might be coming down the road
) I had created externally, and the photo gallery which was already existing is not the built-in SuperMod gallery. Other than that, my entire site (html pages and all) is intergrated through the portal system. I added in more graphical images to replace text menus and the like as well (as well as a full set of custom buttons and many new icons). Finally, there are alternate templates available which remove features like the left portal (for lower res users) but add in other features like text menus to replace it.

Feedback is most definitely welcome.
(and of course, I couldn't have done it without the help of the good folks running SuperMod!)

looks nice and i'm glad that you seem to be contented with us.. please tell us if your users have something to complain about ;o)
btw. supermod has a bridge to coppermine so that only one login/logout for both is required.. there's an old bridge (included in the coppermine package) that me was using.. but afaik datarunner has created a new more functional one.. so if you're interested, just ask him ;o)

Thanks Jack! My members love the place and the new integrated site. It also makes it 50X easier to update content in certain sections now (which means I get some help, lol).
Data actually mentioned that bridge to me a while back - I gotta remember to bug him about it, heheh.

Nox,
something technically before installing... you have multiple databases. I have to move data from one content to another one.
Yeah, this is really sth. that I have to do on a weekend when I must relax from learning for school.

Hi Nox,
you doo... I am just wondering if it is okay for you to get the new Supermod Version installed by the end of this year instead of geting the coppermine gallery update that logs users in also to coppermine when logging in at Supermod?
If you wish, you can also share your new template with us until then.
...General info: I also have sb. on a new template for Supermod.
Thanks
