Is linking a thread to the calendar meant to be an admin only thing? I notice when I'm logged into my test account, that option isn't available. Is there away to allow anyone to link a thread to the calendar?

Go to Admin panel, 'Installed 'Mods' Settings and Options' and scroll down to the 'Calendar' section. There should be an option that reads: 'All Members Can Post' I believe checking this will accomplish what you want.

Didn't realize this was the bug. I thought that perhaps only admins were allowed to link to the calendar.

I just another hard look at this Kris and this isnt how we have SM designed. We've never had a link to from the post.. When a user wants to link a post to the calender that user has to go to the calender to create the post. So this isnt a bug.. I tested to make sure any user can create an event post. One of us will try to make it so a user can create a post that they can link to the calender events instead of going to the calender to create a post like it is now.

Ah! A link to calender in the post box.. Very good! I suggest that the checkbox gets placed in alignment with the other checkboxes, perhaps even along with them.. You also might wanna consider have the post event function default to the originating thread..

this feature needs to get checked for bugs. -- sorry for posting here, but wouldn't it be nice to have a board for progress reports? So we could pack all suggestions for improvement together and plan Supermod ahead...

Technically speaking we have a progress report system and that us the bug list where you are supposed to enter in any work you done on the code. Everyone else has been able to use that list, I notice that you dont and that many times I make the entrys for you when I know what you done.

As for suggestions and improvements we have that covered also in the wish list threads.
