Ok did I mention what a week we been having the last three weeks? First week, I had been feeling some pattern of discomfort in my chest and stomach area for some weeks now. So on Monday I?ve got up to go to work as usual and I decided you know, maybe I better see doctor about these pains. This could be more serious than I think. So her I went to the hospital, and I ended up staying 24 hours in CCU, critical care unit. This could have been a heart attack and the doctor wanted to make sure it wasn?t. Fortunately for me it wasn?t. My heart passed the stress test and shows no signs of damage or weakness. The doctor thinks I have GERT. Gastrial Esophicalis Reflux Disease. I?ll get a second opinion from my family doctor as soon as I have the opportunity to do so; I think its something else. I hardly have heart burn, sometimes but not daily.

Two days later?

Bam! My house gets hit with a bolt of lightening at 3:30 in the morning. I jolted out of bed and shaked Mary Ann awake, yelling we got hit! We got hit!.. She didn?t know WTF I was talking about.. Course, she can sleep through anything. Turns out my network equipment were fried, some of the electrical circuits were tripped, a couple of my computers were toasted and my furnace now hums on occasions. So, I?m dealing with the insurance company on all of this.

A week later..

Mary Ann gets a summons for a $2500 dollar bill that her health insurance should of covered but the hospital submitted the bills to her old insurance and didn?t do anything to correct the mistake they made and the bill went into collection. So we had to hire a lawyer for $500.00 to get this cleared up in court.

Last week:

Mary Ann gets a summons for a $269 dollar bill. Why? Hell if I know. Maybe this is what is left over from the hospital bill? Maybe the bill collector is over eager to give Mary Ann some hell? She says she?s going to just pay the dammed thing.

Yesterday:

I get a summons for 1. Hunting without permission, 2. Not tagging a deer, 3. Failing to check deer. WTF..  She and I went hunting last November and we went on a DNR site south of Plymouth that was a NO CHECK IN reserve. What you mean hunting without permission? What you mean I failed to check a deer? This was a NO CHECK IN property! So I frantically was researching the internet trying to find out how I could have possibly gotten these charges. I was at it for a few hours when we got a door bell; an officer of the DNR is at the door and wants to talk to me. Crap. Ok so I let him in and we talk. Turns out that someone reported her and I out on the field back in November. We had no idea that the land we were on was actually private property and we had no idea that we had to actually find a checking station anywhere from where we were all the way back to home and check in the deer. The NO CHECK IN that?s on the DNR reserve did not mean we don?t check a deer we caught. To make a long story short I now lost my shotgun, confiscated by the officer, and I don?t know if I?ll get it back although he says he?ll tell the prosecutor he feels we can have it back. I also now have 3 misdemeanor charges and who knows maybe more that I have to answer for in April. I?m not happy about this at all and its going to hurt us financially.

This has not been a good month at all for us.

Yeah I hope so also. I just found out that my furnace is shot. The humming noise from the lightening strike is the transformer on the furnace, but the furnace guy said the insurance company wont cover it because he found the furnace exchanger is cracked. The furnace is 20 years old, so now I have to find a way to come up with 4 grand or more to replace it. Between this and the eventual fines I'll have to pay the court and DNR and the money we supposed to come up with to get married June 3rd..  I'm at my wits end. There's no way I can do this.. I'm sinking deeper and deeper into troubles it seems..

I got offered a job in Chantilly VA .. I dunno though.. I dont think I'll take it. It's a big step to move and I'm safe and secure with the job I have now.. 38K with full benifits, 1/2 % contributed 401 + another 3 -4% contributed (bonus).. 10 co pay on meds, and 250 on hospital / doctor per year..  This other company offers somewhat the same but really would it be worth the difference in an area where the average small apartment runs $1200 a month?
